Susan Staus, Teacher: Ms. Staus is a proud mother of four—three sons (ages 19, 17, and 7) and a 14-year-old daughter—all Rocking Horse Preschool alumni now attending Schuylkill Valley. She graduated with honors from West Chester University, earning a bachelor’s in Business Management and a minor in Finance. With over a decade of babysitting experience, plus time substituting in Rocking Horse preschool and Schuylkill Valley schools, Ms. Staus is passionate about helping children learn and grow.
She loves spending time with her children, especially doing arts and crafts together, and enjoys adult crafting and photography as favorite hobbies.
Her classroom goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, explores their creativity, and develops a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Staus looks forward to partnering with families to support each child’s unique journey, welcoming open communication and collaboration throughout the year.
